Each includes different power sources, sensors, interconnection methods, phone-alert paths, and replacement rules. Compare exact model numbers against the building, not one brand page against another.

Existing wiring comes before brand preference

Use only approved test controls and procedures. Never create smoke, flame, combustion gas, or carbon monoxide to test an alarm.
